Connections Magazine

The City of Lakewood’s Connections Magazine is delivered to over 31,000 households in Lakewood quarterly.

The city’s Communications division produces the magazine. In 2016, the Lakewood Connections Magazine won first place in the “Most Improved Publications” category from the National Association of Government Communicators’ Blue Pencil & Gold Screen Awards. The competition featured 265 entries in 41 categories from federal, state, regional, and local government agencies.

Current Edition

The Spring 2024 edition of the quarterly Lakewood Connections magazine is in homes now.

Inside this edition find a message from the Lakewood City Council about the city’s 2023 accomplishments. Learn the latest about the ballfield upgrades happening at Fort Steilacoom Park and read a Q&A style interview with Public Works Engineering Director Paul Bucich, who explains the method behind the madness of how we plan for road improvement projects.
