Lakewood has multiple community gardens around the city. All of the food grown in these gardens is donated back to the residents, whether that be through a food bank or just providing for neighbors. Use this page to learn about and get involved with Lakewood community gardens.
Lakewood Community Garden
5509 Arrowhead Rd SW, Lakewood, WA 98499 (Behind First Baptist Church).
The Lakewood Community Garden is managed by a fantastic group of Master Gardeners. Thank you, Fran Phelan, John Caldwell, and Jim Endicott for all of your hard work. The Lakewood Kiwanis Club harvests the vegetables from (5) 16×12 plots and donates them to local food banks. This garden has plots that are available to rent yearly.

Springbrook Community Garden
Springbrook Park, 12601 Addison St SW, Lakewood, WA 98499.
The Springbrook Community Garden is managed by volunteers from Springbrook Connections. Alll fruits and vegetables picked in this garden are given back to the Springbrook community. Springbrook garden is always in need of volunteers. If you are interested in giving back to the Springbrook Community, please call 253-983-7887.
