Active Projects
Update 10/1/26-10/8/26. Custer Road reopened September 26 with one lane in each direction. The contractor will keep one lane closed in each direction for the next couple of weeks while they finish raising utility castings, restoring behind sidewalk, installing street lighting, permanent signing, and striping. Striping is tentatively planned for the evenings of October 14-16. The roadway will need to be closed those nights beginning at 8:00 P.M. each night. That work is weather dependent.
The total project is estimated at about $2.74 million funded by a grant from the Transportation Improvement Board. This project will construct a two-way left turn lane, sidewalks, curbs, storm drainage, street lighting and a reconstructed roadway.
