Diamond Designs Unlimited named November Business Showcase

Diamond Designs Unlimited has been operating for 35 years, and owner Shawn Luvaas is as appreciative to be in Lakewood as we are to have him here.

An active member of the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce, the crew at Diamond Designs regularly contributes to the community by supporting other businesses, providing internships to local students, charitable donations and many other ways.

In the words of Luvaas: “I sell a want, not a need. But it makes people happy, which makes me happy.” He is also adamant that running a business is not about the money but the opportunities it provides to give back to the community.

This year, consider supporting nonprofit Partners for Parks and its efforts to restore the historic H-Barn at Fort Steilacoom Park.

BMW Northwest and Amazon agreed to MATCH dollar-for-dollar gifts and pledges to the project, up to $100,000, on (or before) Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday is Dec. 3, 2024 – the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

Partners for Parks is hoping to raise $100,000 on this day to put  transform the H-Barn into a unique and much needed multi-purpose facility for public and private use. The nonprofit has already raised $2.3 million toward its $3.5 million goal.
