The Public Safety Advisory Committee provides citizen input to the City Council about public safety policies.
Description
The Public Safety Advisory Committee reports to the City Council and assists in assessing the compliance of City and department policies. The Committee provides a yearly report on the progress of public safety activities, along with additional reports if they are necessary.

Committee members must attend regular meetings. If members miss three or more meetings, they may be dismissed by City Council.
Members must adhere to the City of Lakewood’s code of ethics, show mutual respect among members, and be flexible.
Members shall be residents of the City unless the Council finds that the appointment of a non-resident, by virtue of business involvement or expertise, will benefit the Committee and ultimately the City.
